The winner of "American Idol" season 8 previously showcased it live during a recent concert at The Mint in Los Angeles. "Lonely needs a friend/ Ask him where he's been/ You could be the Light that comes/ And turns his world around."
The single comes as a big surprise on Friday, March 2nd, as he initially wouldn't announce the song until this weekend. "Single announcement on Sun. Mar. 4! I know it's later than expected but some things change. Sorry for the wait," he tweeted on February 29.
