Blondie to perform at their 40th anniversary at SXSW
Blondie will perform at the SXSW music conference in Austin in March to mark their 40th anniversary.
The big event will be accompanied by the release of the band’s 10th studio album 'Ghosts of Download' and showcase the album.
Blondie formed in New York City in 1974 and have sold 40 million records in 40 years of career. They were one of the founding bands of new wave, the term coined by Sire Records founder Seymour Stein to describe his discovery at the time The Talking Heads.
