The Independence Day of the United States was celebrated last night on a special episode on NBC "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular". R&B Diva, Beyonce Knowles was there and belted a patriot song God Bless The USA (Proud To Be An American) and also one of her new single 'Best Thing I Never Had'.

At Macy's 35th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, Beyonce performed with the Statue of Liberty in the background, dressed up with a glamorous gown, B graced the stage for singing first her single 'Best Thing I Never Had' before a crowd that included men and women of the armed forces. The patriotic songstress then returned to celebrate America's birthday with 'God Bless the USA (Proud to Be an American)' as fireworks were exploding over New York's Hudson River.

At the annual event also performed country singer Brad Paisley. He was introduced to the stage by the host Nick Lachey and performed 'Welcome to the Future'. Instead of the background Beyonce had, Brad performed on the Rooftop Bar with a Manhattan backdrop and perfect sight for the fireworks show!
