Listen to CFCF's remix for Bear In Heaven's single 'Reflection Of You'
Montreal's Mike Silver, better known as CFCF, loves taking his favorite tunes, and giving them a pulse. The latest track to get a bouncy thrust from the producer/DJ is Bear In Heaven's still-great new single, "The Reflection of You." With the vocals remaining mostly untouched this time, he replaced the dreamy, and soaring quality of the original with a low-key tropical club vibe. It's another winner for CFCF, who has a new EP, Exercises, dropping April 24 via Paper Bag Records.
CFCF's remix takes the song in a slightly different direction by easing off on the post-rock feel and layering in some glitchy synth work. The end result is a far more mellow rendition that wonderfully highlights the same lyrics that drew us in originally.
