Backstreet Boys Turn Indie
The next Backstreet Boys studio album, entitled, 'In A World Like This', will be released through on the Cooking Vinyl label.
The band’s past release ‘Backstreet Boys’ was the 27th best selling album of all time in the USA, and their ‘Millennium’ album is America's 36th best seller ever. The band describes their new independent status as ‘a natural evolution'. According to their press declarations, they are not trying to turn into something that they are not. The Backstreet Boys members also stated that they have the freedom to do whatever they want, this being an invigorating feeling.
The release of the album also marks the return of Kevin Richardson, who left the band in 2006, and did not appear on their last album 'This Is Us' (2009).
The band’s forthcoming album ‘A World Like This’ will be digitally released on the 2nd of August and physically on August 9.
