Ariana Grande was 'so nervous' during this 2013American Music Awards.

The 20-year-old star took the stage and performed her new hit “Tattooed Heart” off her album “Yours Truly”. She was also nominated for the New Artist of the Year award at the star-studded ceremony.

'Already at the venue for sound check, sooo nervous / excited for tonight #AMAs,' she wrote Sunday afternoon on Twitter. Ariana picked up the award for Kohl’s New Artist of the Year, beating out Florida Georgia Line,Imagine Dragons, Macklemore &Ryan Lewis, and Phillip Phillips.

'Oh my god I'm so nervous. Thank you so much. This is for my fans. I have the most loving and supportive fans in the world and I love them so much,' she said, pulling out a list of names from the bodice of her gown.

'My mom made me this thing and I have it in here so I don't forget anybody. I have 10 seconds. Oh I have nine seconds ' that's intimidating!' she said before rattling off the names of people she wanted to thank.

'This is crazy! I love you thank you!' she said.

The 2013 American Music Awards, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, were hosted by Pitbull.
