Amy Winehouse sang at a Charity Gig in London
Looking as if she's finally easing back into her musical endeavors, Amy Winehouse took the stage in Camden Town, London on Monday night (October 4).
The "Back to Black" singer was a guest at the Hawley Arms' monthly charity club night and surprised the organizers by participating in the event.
Organizer Izzy Lawrence says, "Amy just whispered to me, 'I know I'm not on the lineup but do you mind if I play?' Obviously I wasn't going to say no and she got up and played and it was amazing." The 27-year-old singer belted out six songs, including "Tears Dry On Their Own" and a number of new tracks and the previously unheard material was well received.
Aside from her singing efforts, Amy is also trying her hand in the clothing world - as she's launching a new Fred Perry clothing line.
Of her new duds, Winehouse said, "The collection I've done is so classic, because their style and my style are pretty much the same. Fred Perry is my be all and end all. I've always loved it, always worn it, and it feels like a living dream. I'm not an overconfident person, but I'm really sure about this collection." The 27-year-old added, "I went through a lot of trouble with my ex-husband, so I had such a long time to think about the collection."
