Amy Winehouse is back to life in the new Music Video Cherry Wine with Nas
The rapper Nas promotes his latest music video for 'Cherry Wine', included in his new album 'Life is Good'. This is the second collaboration between Amy Winehouse and Nas, the first one being 'Like Smoke", included in the posthumous album "Lioness: Hidden Treasures". Both singles were produced by Salaam Remi, who was also involved in Amy's materials "Frank" and "Back to Black".
Nas declared that "Yeah, Salaam worked on her last album, and they were working. We don't even have an explanation for how it happened." "It was just magic. It just happened. It was supposed to happen. She made it happen."
In 'Cherry Wine" video, Amy is projected on the walls in the visual, and the rapper is playing a bartender and the model Brittany Dailey that gets all men's attention. The projection is a great way to include Amy Winehouse in the video.
The Brooklyn rapper said "It was important for me to have Amy Winehouse because that's what we were doing. That was the direction me and her were going in, to work. It's hard to talk about it because she's missed and she's one of a kind. I think it's a magic moment between us, me and her, and may she rest in peace and love."
In the album 'Life is Good' also features collaborations with Mary J Blige, Rick Ross, Drake, Heavy D and Swizz Beatz, and has already sold over 300.000 copies since it was released on July 13.
