Another Detroit City Anthem! Detroit Over Everything!
Sino, Earlly Mac, Pablo Skywalkin, Fenkell Payroll, Peezy, Hellavua, Dusty Mcfly, Keely Ferguson, Trick Trick, Teameastside Peezy, Pablo Skywalkin, K-Deezy, Antt Beatz, Drey Skonie, Hydro, Cash Kidd, T-Dot, J Nutty, Hardwork Jig, GT, Lil George, HNIC Pesh, Sally Vials, Eastside 80's, Mudda Pain, KDot The Cashcow. These are the people down with the singin' in this major gig, that, I gotta say, is major because of the hard work that was put in a project of this magnitude, and not so much because of the rapping finesse. Most of the lyrics were something people will stop listening in a month or two. Of course you have the Detroit love that makes you want to replay the song, but that love will leave the fire in the heath unattended after a short while. Talking about hate and haters, about popping and mobbing and keeping it real is something that will keep the audience hooked for a little while. You need universal themes, things that people will relate to in a year or two. You need word play, slick ass verses and indelible combinations.
To be honest, Trick Trick was methodically placed at the ending, because his tone of voice incites rebellion. He gives the song something of that 'Welcome 2 Detroit City' from a couple of years before. That spite, that raise your hands, that make the trap sit up!
The song is eight minutes long, so prepare yourself, because although it may not be all that genius, it unites East Side and West Side, which is an endeavor we warmly embrace. Give it up to Eminem, who recruited these guys, and give it up to the artists, which I've scribbled down at the beginning of this post.
