A SHOWER FOR THE SOUL

I can bathe my body,
I can wash my hands,
I can purify my thoughts,
And still not understand.

I can bathe my body,
I can cleanse my clothes,
I can mend them all up,
So they're not full of holes.

I can bathe my body,
I can shed my skin,
I can change inside,
And still fall down to sin.

I can bathe my body,
I can plan my goals,
But what I really need,
Is a shower for the soul.
