Haley Reinhart debuts music video in support of her first single Free
Former contestant on American Idol Season 10, Haley Reinhart unleashed the music video in support of her debut single – the love ballad Free which appears on her upcoming first studio effort Listen Up!. She sings the "empowering break-up song" to a guy she has her eyes on in a diner. The jazzy tune was showcased on an "Idol" episode, during which Erika Van Pelt was sent home. Directed by Christopher Sims, the clip sees the young singer flirting to the camera surrounded by a darkened atmosphere at the dinner. "It's not like she isn't loving you/ It's just that you can't be alone for too long/ I'd like to wish you all the happiness/ Maybe the truth is, it'll kill me if you move on/ Who is gonna be the first to say enough/ Who is gonna be the first one to find true love", the blonde songstress dishes.
"Along with the album's pop undertones, it definitely has key elements of soul, rock, R&B, and even some jazz," she gushed. "I'm hugely influenced by the music I grew up with and you can hear that on the album. I'm so thrilled to make my visions come to life!" Enjoy your watch below.
