Gudda Gudda makes a track about how we can properly absorb others after they are gone: Pay Homage
Saying RIP sometimes don't cut it. That's why rapper Carl Lilly raised the sails of this very lyrical boat, which is a vehicle of wisdom and faith in things to come. There are mentions of Pac, Biggie Smalls, LOX, and even a word or two from Gudda's homie Weezy. Like it or not, we can learn a little bit from everybody, or so goes his message, even if we're talking rap legend 2Pac, or more or less appreciated artists. There's good in all of us, don't wait till somebody dies to say something good about him. What you believe the man had good in him then might not be that true, that from the heart, as it were if you told him to his face back when he was alive, ya know? Death sensitizes all of us, it's a state to which we all develop, and that's why we all become tolerant in front of it. Just a thought: paint that live picture, because if you paint out of memory, your brush may not be able to portray the whole truth.
