Green River Ordinance

Green River Ordinance - Love Laid Down lyrics

rate me

What are we, just flesh and blood and irony

We eating from the poison tree

Just trying to find our way back home

Ill equipped, to ever fix this sinking ship

So many hours I have spent, just trying to find my way back home

Open eyes, to see the beauty in disguise

We sell it off the empty hides

Just trying to find our way back home

And I still ... tired with these hands

Don't feel so high, just castles in the sand

On my running, ... you rest

What if all I care, ... is never good at best

Home I'm running high, way, way, way, way,

Love laid down to raise your heart

Long lost and dark,

Love laid down for the tired eyes

Couldn't seem to find

Love laid down to raise your heart

Long lost and dark

Love laid down to bring to life

All that's lost inside

Love laid down, can you hear the song

Of the coming home

Love laid down, can you hear the sound

Of the love it's found

Love laid down, to raise your heart

Long lost and dark

Love laid down to bring to life

All you left inside

Love laid down, to raise your heart,

To raise your heart, to raise your heart

To raise your heart, it's like an ocean

It's like an ocean, it's like an ocean, it's like an ocean

It's like an ocean, it's like an ocean, it's like an ocean

It's like a whoa!

Alternative-rock band Green River Ordinance released a new song, "Love Laid Down". The song is taken off the band's upcoming album "Under Fire". After listening to the album, you'll surely agree with me that this is by far the best song from the album.
