Glasvegas

Glasvegas - If? (Demo) lyrics

rate me

The walls... I pray forever ...care

If not ... out, I couldn't recognize the...

If not for ... the chain, ... come by invisible

If no...here

If not for bad start

The good will never be here, enough

If not for loneliness, our faith is somewhere in the wilderness

If our love was ever to part ways, then the world as I know it would never ever spare, again

If there's no words of violence, that can't whisper scream of sonic silence

If not for fear, a hope is nowhere near

If not for real, the sun will never split the skies again

...into the words we should shed

Fear not, our rest is only up ahead

If not for loneliness, our faith is somewhere in the wilderness

If our love was ever to part ways, then the world as I know it would never ever spare, again

Never ever spare, again,

On the road to somewhere, you're on the road to somewhere

We're on the road to somewhere

If not for real, the sun will never spread the skies again

...into the words we should shed

Fear not, our rest is only up ahead

If for,

If there's no words of violence, that can't whisper scream of sonic silence

If not for fear, a hope is nowhere near

If not for loneliness, our faith is somewhere in the wilderness

If our love was ever to part ways, then the... would never ever spare, again

If not for loneliness, our faith is somewhere in the wilderness

If our love was ever to part ways, then the... would never ever spare, again

Never ever spare, again.

The band Glasvegas has posted recently a new demo online, for a tune called "If". It seems that the track is, apparently, based on a text-conversation between Glasvesgas singer James Allan and former Creation records boss Alan McGee. "We talked on the phone and told me he was very depressed about something. So I then sent him a text saying, :If it were not for all the dark and then the good things dark and the light would be unrecognizable to us", James Allan said about the conversation he had with Alan McGee.
