George Baker launched a new album now, around the age of 70
It's kinda odd, calling 'Seventy', Baker's just released album a NEW one. He still sings like in the late 60'. It's wonderful music, but sometimes it remembers me of Rick Astley. The instrumentals sound like they're something being played on a boombox, in a not so crowded bar in West Virginia. Not to go all negative on this album, but I wanted to get the lesser parts out of the way.
What is left is a very nice album, with song interpreted from the heart, little pieces that will surely animate a lovely wedding crowd. Except for that song about the Old Chevy, his lyrics reach out to universal topics, like love, the miracle of birth, life, liberty, and so on.
Here's a track that's not featured on the album. All these new albums can be downloaded via torrent clients and through mirrors, like those on newalbumrelseases dot net. Go there and download the album, and/or buy it, and enjoy the oldies! Cheers!
