Gary Barlow Confirms the Release of Solo Album via TwitterGary Barlow, frontman and lead vocalist of Take That, confirmed the release of his first solo studio album in 14 years, on November 25th via Polydor Records.

The announcement was made on Twitter, and no information relating the title and track listing was revealed yet.

Barlow became famous as a member of the British pop-group Take That. The band had eight number one albums and fifteen No.1 singles, sold more than 30 million copies around the world and seven million concert tickets. Take That was also the proud recipient of six Ivor Novello Awards.

On his own, Gary Barlow has received a OBE for his contribution to British music last year, following the work he has done with BBC Children In Need and the hugely successful Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert.

Gary's last solo album was entitled 'Twelve Months, Eleven Days', and was released in 1999. His debut solo record 'Open Road' hit the No.1 spot in May 1997.
