I used to be in Million Dead you know... It was a lot of fun for four years, and then we broke up, which was a real shame. In the aftermath of years of touring in a hardcore band, ears still ringing, I decided that I wanted to try my hand at the lighter end of my music taste for a while, and follow up my love of all things folk / acoustic / country. And maybe along the way show that it is possible to write simple acoustic music without sounding like james blunt, and whilst retaining some passion, anger, and a sense of humour.
This myspace page is here mainly to give people the chance to listen to some music, and to form a network of people interested in what I do. Feel free to invite me as a "friend" (I always accept) but please don't send me messages / mail through this site as I very rarely check it. My normal email will do nicely.
As well as any tunes on here, I've got a 5-track EP coming out in the UK on Xtra Mile Recordings on May 15th this year. I'm working on getting it out in other territories too, but if you're not from the UK and desperate to get some more tunes, mail me. (frank@frank-turner.com)
