New music: Ellie Goulding debuts new track Hanging On with Tinie Tempah
The UK songstress Ellie Goulding is currently working on her sophomore album, but still has time to reveal a new track "Hanging On", which is actually a cover of the Active Child track with the same name. Ellie shared the track on Soundcloud, site which crashed soon after the release.
"Here's the beginning of my new journey. Enjoy and share responsibly," she posted. The Active Child's "Hanging On" cover also features UK rapper Tinie Tempah. In the impressive new track, Ellie sings: "If anybody said the grass is greener on the other side, well it 'aint – swear on my mother's life."
Riddled with her signature airy soprano vocals, once again, Ellie Goulding covers another great track with the most respectful interpretation an artist can provide. Listen to it below.
