Dr. Dog

Dr. Dog - Vampire lyrics

rate me

There's a darkness around you

I can't explain, and my heart breaks around you

Like the rain

You destroy all that's good here, at your will

There's a part of me though that, loves you still

You're a vampire baby

No reflection at all

You never think what you do, really hurts

You're always giving me name

If I get something at all

Leaving me in the dark, oh whoa the night

There's a black mask and shadows

Behind your veil

You're as tempting and savage

As my salus shell

If you move what you wanted

I'd give you mine

But I'm no brave robber baby, I can't know your mind

You're a vampire baby

No reflection at all

You never think what you do, really hurts

You're always giving me name

If I get something at all

Leaving me in the dark, oh whoa the night

Somehow, someway, someday, somehow

We will get along, here

Dawn is always dark here (Dawn is always dark)

Somehow, someway, someday, sometime

We will get along, yeah

You're a vampire baby

No reflection at all

You never think what you do, really hurts

You're always giving me name

If I get something at all

Leaving me in the dark, oh whoa all night (x2)

You’re a vampire baby, cha cha cha, cha cha

Dr. Dog is an eclectic gang of underdog indie rockers that blend a distinctive do-it-yourself style with Beatles charm. The band often switches vocals between the raspy howl of bassist Toby Leaman and the off-kilter voice of Scott McMicken. This song is called "Vampire" and will be included on their latest album "Be The Void".
