Watch Demi Lovato's new romantic clip Give Your Heart a Break
Despite was scheduled to premiere one day later, Demi Lovato's latest clip "Give Your Heart a Break" has surfaced on Sunday, April 1st. As the teasers previously revealed the music video follows the Disney star along her boyfriend (Mitchie Torres), and illustrates their most happy time together. "I'm basically trying to convince a guy that I didn't break his heart, and we get into a fight and I try to win him over again," Lovato explained to MTV News about the love story in the newly-revealed music video. "So I do something special for him at the end of the song."
Although having been acting in front of camera many times before, the "Camp Rock" star still found it hard and awkward to act lovey dovey with her on-screen lover especially when they had to do it "five minutes after meeting." At the same time they had to do so many romantic gestures in the clip! And we love the part when Demi, with great attention, designs a giant photo of themselves on the wall across his boyfriend apartment.
She recalled in an interview with E! News, "I really think the most challenging part of shooting my music video was that I was actually on set for the first time and the director said, 'OK, you and this guy, you're going to cuddle now'."
