Demi Lovato sings Give Your Heart A Break on the stage of American Idol With her rocker side at front, Demi Lovato took the stage last night, March 15th during the singing contest American Idol and performed her latest single "Give Your heart A Break". Dressed in a mostly black ensemble paired with a leather jacket, she delivered a clean version of the song, energetic and with confidence at the same time, which brought the audience on their feet. Meanwhile , the Chris Daughtry-fronted band made use of the show to debut their new single, a lovesick song "Outta My Head". It has a bit more tempo and stomp than the group's other songs. That night's eliminated contestant was teen blonde Shannon Magrane, after disqualifying Jermaine Jones on Wednesday's performance show. The 16-year-old Florida girl sang Mariah Carey's "One Sweet Day" for the judges, but they decided not to use their "save" privilege to keep her on the competition.
