The People, a realistic view of society today, tributary to De La Soul

The People, a realistic view of society today, tributary to De La SoulHere we go, a realistic, post-subjectivity intervention that generalizes what was not long ago the black community's Mike Brown incident. The guys from De La Soul had this song called 'The People' ready since summer, but didn't want to 'add fuel to any fires'. Damn right! Time needs to shine its settling light over situations of great dismay and let the people digest. After the digestion's done, the brain can take over. Even in biology that's a fact!

Not to falsely lead you in any direction not worthy of following, the guys stated that they propose a panorama of the black man's tribulations and trials, strengths and weaknesses, ups and downs, so don't be expecting any gospels on how righteous the black man is. You'll be facing some unworthy remarks too, but they're shaded by one thing: through good and bad, 'we are the people'. Though some pull us down, others carry the whole weight, but still drive the group onward. That's what's worth mentioning! Peace!
