Born in Cuneo in 1987, Marta Mattalia was always attracted by the artistic world and first decided to embark on a musical path at the age of 14, when she understood that she couldn't choose but concretize her feelings in art. She started to study modern and jazz singing with teachers like Simon Papa and Roberto Demo. During that period she started the collaboration with DAVIDE ARNEODO like singer, lyric writer and musician in the same genre, in which she tries to put all her humanistic and scientific knowledge, all her reason, all her inner world, all her poetry. Following several live performances she recorded some studio tracks with recognized artists like FEDERICO SANESI and RICCARDO TESI. At the same time she discovered her passion for theatre so, from 2002 until 2006, she attended the Giovanni Toselli Theatre Academy in Cuneo for 4 years, under the guidance of Chiara Giordanengo and Michele Viale. In June 2006 she interpreted some songs by Anna Identici for the play "The strong ring" produced by the same academy and, the following year, she was the soloist in the play "to be-not to be" staged by Loss theatre company from Torino. She gained experience of dubbing voices during the production of an animated film being directed by Silvio Pautasso of Motus Film of Milan, who was also animation director of "The Little Gull and the Cat" and "The BlueArrow".
