Damon Albarn Debuts Official single off opera album The Marvelous Dream
Damon Albarn released his official single off the upcoming album Dr. Dee titled "The Marvelous Dream" a opera music that shows a different Damon Albarn, a slow jam accompanied by some simple black-and-white visuals of moving traffic. Dr. Dee is Damon's first opera which premiered last year and is now planned to be released on May 7 through Parlophone. It tells about queen Elizabeth I's medical and scientific advisor John Dee.
Albarn promises that the Dr. Dee album will feature "early English choral and instrumentation alongside modern, West African and Renaissance sounds. Awesome! Take a listen to Damon's lead single "The Marvelous Dream" in here:

Dr. Dee is his second solo project this year, after the release of Rocket Juice & the Moon on March 12th, a new side-project featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and afrobeat legend Tony Allen.
