CJ Hilton - Cold Summer lyrics

rate me

The world was ours,

My life belongs to you

So what’s the cause?

Of what we going through

I’m blocked, breaking on the pressure

But baby I’m sure to let you

Blow up … to you, like you want it

But to catch you

Feeling like up in the freezer

Shivering cause I can’t see you

Is that about to making believe you

When you told me to believe

Still cold cold… baby

And now I’m in the street alone…

To do me

It’s been a cold cold summer, since you left me baby

Just can’t believe you’re gone

… to me,

I really wanna be with you,

And now it seems like it’s hard to get ya

I …

Everything seems like you’re brushing me off

I really wanna be with you

How you gonna treat me like I’m nothing special

So what you gonna … produce

You know you gonna miss the…

Cause if you were mine baby

I never have to work the way you working

Play me like a guitar, lady

… mention lies

The temperature is going down, down

Still cold cold… baby

And now I’m in the street alone…

To do me

It’s been a cold cold summer, since you left me baby

Just can’t believe you’re gone

… to me,

The world was ours, ours

Baby my life belongs to you

So what’s the diff? whoa baby

I thought that we were cool

I’m blocked, breaking on the pressure

But baby I’m sure to let you

Blow up … to you, like you want it

But to catch you

Feeling like up in the freezer

Shivering cause I can’t see you

Is that about to making believe you

When you told me to believe

Still cold cold… baby

And now I’m in the street alone…

To do me

It’s been a cold cold summer, since you left me baby

Just can’t believe you’re gone

… to me.

“Cold Summer” is the name of the first track on the album with the same name. This is the debut album of the soul singer CJ Hilton. CJ's first studio release, Cold Summer, is expected out by the end of 2011 via RCA Records. The Salaam Remi produced track is a soulful dedication to his ex-girlfriend.
