2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards - Winners List in Full
The 6th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards finally aired last night, after it wad taped early October and revealed its winners. R&B crooner Chris Brown, rapper Lil Wayne or Young Money's femcee Nicki Minaj were among biggest winners as they've collected multiple trophies.
It was Breezy's collaboration to Busta Rhymes 'Look At Me Now' which won three nominations : Best Hip-Hop Video, Reese's Perfect Combo Award and Verizon People's Champ Award. Additionally, the verses rapped by Busta in the track were named Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse. Lil Wayne also won two nominations: Best Live Performer and Lyricist of the Year beating artists like Busta Rhymes, Cee-Lo Green, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Rick Rock or Nicki Minaj.
Nicki won two trophies also. She was named MVP of The Year and Made-You-Look Award. Rapper Wiz Khalifa won Rookie of The Year and Track of Teh Year for his single 'Black and Yellow'.
A special honoree was given to LL Cool J who received "I Am Hip-Hop" Icon Award.
Hosted by comedian Mike Epps, the awards-giving event featured performances from big stars like Swizz Beatz, T.I., Lupe Fiasco, Eminem and Erykah Badu. Check out the complete list of winners of BET Hip-Hop Awards 2011 below:
