Listen to Chance The Rapper’s “Wonderful Everyday Arthur” Track
Chancelor Bennett, better known by his stage name Chance The Rapper, is back with another track.
It’s hard to picture the 21-year-old artist, who is fond of hallucinogens, as the type who finds deep meaning in children’s cartoons. Nevertheless, the Chicago native has recently been heard humming at his concerts the theme song from PBS’ “Arthur,” and now he has even released a studio version of it.
Entitled “Wonderful Everyday Arthur,” Chance’s cover is made in collaboration with an array of hip-hop wordsmiths. Wyclef Jean, Francis & The Lights, Jesse Ware, Elle Varner, Eryn Allen Kane, The O'my's, Peter Cottontale and Donnie Trumpet are the singers who also seem to show a great interest in children’s cartoons.
