New Song of Cee Lo Green Bright Lights Bigger City
Cee-Lo Green premiered a new song entitled Bright Lights, Bigger City. Cee-Lo's putting out his third solo album, The Lady Killer, which drops November 9, 2010.
A lot of R&B and pop fans might not know this, but Cee-Lo Green, a man who has one of the strongest singing voices in all of contemporary Soul music, actually began his music career as a rapper. He started out as a member of Atlanta-based hip-hop crew the Goodie Mob, and later went on to record two solo albums as a singer-rapper. But it wasn't until he formed the eclectic musical duo Gnarls Barkley with producer-musician Danger Mouse that Cee-Lo hit the big time. The first single, F*ck You became a viral hit, but yours truly is actually feeling the second single, Bright Lights, Bigger City, more; it's a track that has a fun, '80s disco/rollerskating vibe, but at the same time manages to not sound too dated or corny.
