American Country Awards - winners listCarrie Underwood is the big winner at the inaugural American Country Awards on Monday night, December 6. The American Idol alum won all the six categories where she was nominated. She beat Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Zac Brown Band in the top honor, Artist of the Year.

Her other five ACA trophies were for Artist of the Year - Female, Album of the Year, Single of the Year - Female, Touring Headline Package of the Year and Music Video of the Year - Female. In the last category, she pushed aside Lambert, Reba McEntire, Kellie Pickler and Gretchen Wilson.

We have had the most amazing year out on the road but we wouldn't be doing anything if there weren't people out there sitting in that audience, she thanked fans upon collecting her final Fender Stratocaste. So to everybody that came out to see us (or) anybody else out here, you guys are awesome for supporting us like you do. God bless the fans.

Antebellum who, along with Easton Corbin, dominated the nominations list with seven nods took home four prizes. These were Artist of the Year - Duo or Group, Single of the Year, Single of the Year - Duo or Group and<B> Music Video of the Year - Duo or Group.

While Antebellum got four kudos, Corbin managed to pocket three awards. This new country music singer was named Artist of the Year - Breakthrough Artist, Single of the Year - Breakthrough Artist and <B>Music Video of the Year - Breakthrough Artist. The other artist who won multiple gongs was Lambert's fiance Blake Shelton who got double victories.

ACA was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and was hosted by Trace Adkins who closed the whole event by singing This Ain't No Love Song. The other musical guests included Jason Aldean, Steel Magnolia, Uncle Kracker and The Band Perry. Special honorees were Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson. Flatts were presented with Decade Award by Antebellum, Keith was handed Video Visionary Award by Criss Angel and Jackson was honored with Greatest Hits Award.
