Bridget Hermano, recent stage name changed, Bridget Vanessa. Bridget Hermano is an 19 year old local Seattle-area artist, she was born and raised in the emerald city. Bridget always loved music since she was child, displaying a strong passion for singing in her adolescence. For seven years she took voice lessons from Cecile Azarcon Inocentes, a well received composer from the Philippines. From this point on Bridget began singing in her local church and suddenly found herself inspired to do more for God through her music. Starting her years in middle school, she began to self teach herself how to play instruments such as the piano, guitar and drums. Once she started to play and write her own music, she began to develop her own style and started to compose original songs in a conventional format. She currently has a repertoire of over 30 original songs and counting. It was from this point on that she became even more driven and determined, beginning a streak of competing in singing and songwriting contests. Her many accolades include winning1st place in The Filipino Communitys Fundraiser Asian American Idol held December in 2004, Original Song Competition for CFC Youths National Conference held in Maryland in 2003 and California 2004. Bridget also participated in the Papuri Northwest CD Project in 2002 and 2003. One of her favorite performances she recalls is opening up for Season 2 American Idol finalist, Jasmine Trias at the University of Washington. She recently was a viewers choice finalist contestant for Western Washington's televised singing competition Seattle's Stars. Currently, she is a full-time student, a self-employed voice instructor, a Promotions intern at KISS 106.1, Seattles local FM radio station and dedicates ample time to her local Church, serving actively as the Music Ministry head for Couples for Christ Youth. When asked where all her inspiration and motivation comes from, she answers its ALL for God! Bridget seeks to change the music industry by sending positive messages through her songs and bringing hope to others through her God given gift of voice. Her life mission is quite simply, Live for God.
