Brenda Kay Winters - Mother's Grave lyrics

rate me

Today I walked to my Mother's grave alone.

I needed to remember her love.

She was so caring for me all of my life.

Even when I became a good man's wife and caused her strife.

My heart aches so much, it wants to break.

I asked her for forgiveness for all my mistakes.

We made our peace while she was still alive.

No one but our good L-rd understood this as I looked into her eyes.

I want to be the best here that I can be,

For my heavenly Father knows I need to see her again.

Someday when my time on Earth is done.

We can embrace in Heaven where nothing is wrong.
