Beyonce signs $50 million deal with PepsiPepsi has named Beyonce the new brand ambassador for Pepsi in a multi-year deal estimated at $50 million.

The project will include several creative marketing projects, including commercials and also a "creative content development fund" to support the diva's musical and artistic endeavors.

Beyonce said to The New York Times that "Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve... as a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity."

The launch will coincide with the singer's release of her next album, early 2013. Beyonce will perform at the Super Bowl 2013 half-time show, sponsored by Pepsi, which will take place in New Orleans on February 3.
