Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson to perform at President Obama's Inauguration
Pop-diva Beyonce Knowles, "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson and Grammy Award-winning artist James Taylor are the artists who were tipped to sing at President Barack Obama's second inauguration on January 21. Bey will sing the National Anthem, while Kelly Clarkson was selected to sing "My Country, 'Tis Of Thee" and James Taylor is set to perform "America the Beautiful".
"Vice President Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony... Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country," Mr. Obama said in a statement following the announcement of performers invited to the inauguration ceremony.
