Beyonce Knowles Releases “God Made You Beautiful”
“When you were born the angels sighed in delight/ They never thought they’d see such a beautiful sight,” sings Beyonce Knowles in “God Made You Beautiful,” her latest release.
The track was released in order to promote the diva’s HBO documentary, Beyonce: Life Is But a Dream, on DVD next month. The song is a pop ballad that follows the theme of empowerment, similar to Beyonce’s “Standing on the Sun” and “Grown Woman,” and it will be available for free download only if fans purchase the Life Is But a Dream DVD, which will be released on November 25. The two-disc set will include the documentary and live concert film.
Beyonce is currently working on her forthcoming album. Although she has given fans free listens to her new songs this year, Beyonce hasn't shared further information about her highly-anticipated fifth album. Nevertheless, according to singer/producer, Pharrell Williams, the album is “almost done” and that it sounds amazing!
“B's album is crazy. Let me tell you what it is. She's very particular. She's a Virgo. And she's not going to put it out until it's ready and feels like it's right to her. She's got a very specific taste. I guess that's the reason she's Beyonce,” said Pharrell.
