Beth Jeans Houghton - Nightswimmer lyrics
rate meMy darling, where's his clothes, to go swimming at night?
Me I can only hope, he'll go out with the tide
You're only my only love, and I can't keep my head up above this
Ocean that you poured all over the bedroom floor
My darling, where's his clothes, to go swimming at night?
Me I can only hope, he'll go out with the tide
...it's over, ... make across
The orange dusty air, ... human structure, ...restored by the path
But in the ends, the ... look like this, and nothing ever came up
You're only my only love, and I can't keep my head up above this
Ocean that you poured all over the bedroom floor X 5

"My darling wears his clothes to go swimming at night", I think. Can't quite make out the spoken section, it seems to include "... the cracks in the pavement, sweat like the crust on a toffee pecan pie, the orange dust in the air a nice seasoning for the human scratching your legs on street corners, [indecipherable] by the park, but in the end, the ways run lifeless, and nothing ever came of".
