We have said it before, and we’ll say it again: singing about the female body, and most importantly about women’s critical attitude towards their physical appearance, is the latest rage nowadays, and it seems that John Legend knows that too.

Over a piano groove, which can easily be identified as John Legend’s trademark, the singer praises his lover’s imperfections. Like other previous singers who have decided to approach this theme, the Ohio native too finds these imperfections perfect.

In less than a month, Legend’s track got 14 million hits on YouTube, and has also been remixed. The G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Benny Cassette is the artist who was brave enough to give “You & I” a different touch. Although Cassette has modified the track’s beat, he decided to keep the lyrics because he too must have thought that this is what women want to hear.
