Beck Goldsmith - Stella's Telescope lyrics
rate meI thought I’d find
A warmth underneath the ice
Waited for a sign
A drift or a shift in light
Sleet sheets for snow
Breathe you before you go
A ring through a telescope
A spring where the well was choked
Dig a hollow for your sorrows
Bury all you’ve lost
What’s forgiven is forgotten
Now the stars have crossed
Before the sky is dark
Which things still linger on?
Take what you thought was gone
And hear what your heart could not
Dig a hollow for your sorrows
Bury all you’ve lost
What’s forgiven is forgotten
Now the stars have crossed

Singer Beck Goldsmith released new album, consisting in a combination of classic songwriting sensibilities and the creepy styling of 70s cinema. This track is called "Stella's Telescope", and it's a great soulful song that was written in the back of a silver transit van.
