Azealia Banks gives new single Neptune ahead of Fantasea album release
With the release of the Fantasea mixtape steady looming, New York femcee Azealia Banks revealed via her Twitter page another collaboration that will appear on the new project. The artist shared the upbeat "Neptune" featuring UK femcee Shystie. Combining girl power from two ends of the globe, the ladies hold their own on the fresh track. Keeping with her mermaid theme, Ms. Banks flaunts her seductive powers, lyrically speaking, of course.
Though previously set for release on July 4th, Fantasea – which will also include the previously-released track "Jumanji" and the Styles P-assisted "Nathan" – will be available to purchase later today (July 11th). Recently, she also announced the record will also feature a covered track by The Prodigy. Listen to Banks' new single after the jump.
The project comes before Banks' debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, expected for release during September this year. "Fantasea is almost kind of a first album of sorts….but it happened by mistake…. It's weird," tweeted Banks. "This is a test run… I tried a lot of cool things… Sounds I thought were progressive, beats made by close friends, different flowsss."
