Amy Winehouse

"VH1 Divas" Soul celebrating show aired last night, December 19th and saw many soul artists who came on the stage to sing for soul cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, London and Philadelphia. The night also included a special tribute to late British singer Amy Winehouse, which was opened with "You Know I'm No Good" sang by Sharon & The Dap-Kings joined by Wanda Jackson and later continued by Florence Welch with her band who performed Amy's single "Back to Black".

In honoring Memphis city, Jennifer Hudson joined Jessie J performing a medley on Eddie Floyd's "Knock on Wood" before Erykah Badu and Chaka Khan took the stage along Mavis Staples on her classic "I'll Take You There". Detroit was honored by Sharon Jones, Marsha Ambrosius and Martha Reeves who performed latter's single "Nowhere to Run", whilst Ledisi and Kelly Clarkson followed with a rendition on Aretha Franklin's song "Chain of Fools".

Meanwhile, the boys took the attention when paying tribute to Philadelphia. Travie McCoy (Gym Class Heroes) and Boyz II Men showed on the stage. In honoring next city, Chicago Sharon and Ledisi sang "Rescue Me" and Mary and Chaka performed "Ain't Nobody". London city was honored with performances from Estelle, Erykah Badu, Marsha and Questlove, but also Florence Welch. Check out below some of the "VH1 Divas" celebrating show performances below:
