“Body And Soul” represents a special song taking into account the fact that it was recorded for the forthcoming album “Duets II” of the American pop and jazz singer Tony Bennett right before Amy Winehouse passed away, standing as one of the finest songs of her career.
<br>The original song was written in 1930 with lyrics by Edward Heyman, Robert Sour and Frank Eyton and music by Johnny Green built around strings and piano.</br>
<br>The official video was released on September 14, Bennett saying that “Recording with Amy was just so beautiful, and I knew after singing with her what a true artistic genius she was because she performed with total and complete honesty — that is a very rare quality”.The proceeds from the single will go to a charity set up in Winehouse’s name.</br>
