Old School Christmas

Do you remember what it used to be? What Christmas meant to me? It’s Christmas Eve And lights are on the tree And we can’t fall asleep Cause we can help it think Of how it was way back in the days We’d go outside and play ’til it got late Having big snow fights Watching Miracle on 34 Street We make sure there is peace Cause we couldn’t take no more And momma baked that pumpkin pie just for me So tell me Can we have an old school Christmas? Like the ones we used to know Yeah this holiday I’m coming home I just wanna have an old school Christmas Back with the folks and friends Celebrate the way we used to again We stay awake And yeah we try and wait And listen fir a slay It’s Santa on his way Now take me back to 1983 When Christmas is the most to me Playing ‘til it’s time to leave Grandma’s old piano And the family’s gonna sing ‘til Christmas story comes on TV So tell me Can we have an old school Christmas? Like the ones we used to know Yeah this holiday I’m coming home I just wanna have an old school Christmas Back with the folks and friends Celebrate the way we used to again I remember Do you remember? The way it used to be What Christmas meant to me Yeah I remember Do you remember? The way it used to be What Christmas meant to me Can we have an old school Christmas? Like the ones we used to know Yeah this holiday I’m coming home I just wanna have an old school Christmas Back with the folks and friends Celebrate the way we used to again An old school Christmas An old school Christmas An old school Christmas Back with the folks and friends Celebrate the way we used to again
