Adam Lambert performs Trespassing at the NewNowNext Awards in Los AngelesThe 2009 'American Idol' runner-up Adam Lambert rocked the stage at the L.A. NewNowNext Awards performing his latest single Trespassing off his highly anticipated upcoming second studio album with the same title, which is due to release in the U.S. on may 15th .

Backed with a live band and wearing a black- leather outfit, the singer delivered a great performance and we feel bad about his latest concert along with Queen that was recently canceled 'cause we'd loved to hear more from Adam. "While I'm sad that the Sonisphere festival has been canceled, I'm hopeful that Queen and I will share a stage again someday in the future," he wrote on Twitter. The star-studded event which celebrates achievements in the LGBT community will air on LOGO on Monday, April 9th.

The event was hosted by Kelly Osbourne. In addition to featuring Lambert's performance, it also had Neon Trees, Rye Rye and Brink-of-Fame: Music Artist winner Neon Hitch as musical guests. Also grabbing a prize each were "The Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson (Next Mega Star) and "Glee" actress Naya Rivera (Cause You're Hot).
