Spider's was formed during latest 60's in Guadalajara, Mexico. The band played a musical style influenced, in someway by Eric Burdon and The Animals, and somehow by Jim Morrison and The Doors. The album "Back" was the first and their best, both a LP and a EP in the same year 1970. After Avandaro's Festival, mexican rock music was banned by Goverment, included Spider's, who were forced to perform the next albums overseas in 1973. The band was practically underground and almost forgotten during the 80's, after their third album from 1980. In 1993 the band returned to perform a live album beside another local band, Stone Facade (whose style was totally different). "Back" also is the emblematic song for this band to be in remembrance. |
